Shivam Industries, an ISO 9001:2000–certified Indian manufacturer of aluminum pressure die-castings and rubber-molded parts, faced rising demand while struggling with outsourced design: loss of data security, inability to design parts and tooling concurrently, frequent design errors and no simulation capability that led to shop-floor scrap and rework.
