Ikeda Business Group (Ikeda Group), a Brazil-based manufacturer of agricultural implements, barbecue equipment and furniture, needed to move off slow 2D workflows and improve product lifecycle management, information quality and project security. To modernize design across its divisions the company standardized on Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions—primarily Solid Edge (with Teamcenter for PLM)—to replace legacy tools and speed up development.

By deploying Solid Edge with synchronous technology across all designers, Ikeda Group enabled fast multi‑version editing, easy reuse of CAD data and concurrent work on multiple projects. The implementation cut drafting time from about two weeks to as little as one day (roughly a tenfold increase in production speed) while boosting information quality, design reliability and project security.
