Magic System, an automation design firm and Hyundai Motors design partner based in Ulsan, faced mounting pressure to convert 2D design data to CAD, manage an expanding design repository, reduce frequent design errors, and cut reliance on outside services that limited its in-house capabilities. To address these challenges the company adopted Solid Edge as its standard design tool.

Solid Edge, supported by Siemens Digital Industries Software training, was deployed to standardize 2D/3D workflows and provide dedicated jig-design capabilities; Magic System also implemented tailored training to build internal skills. As a result of the Solid Edge rollout and process standardization, design productivity increased by 20 percent, editing time and errors were reduced, and the firm gained the infrastructure and agility to respond faster to customer requests and rely less on external resources.
