AESSEAL Plc - Customer Case Study

AESSEAL Plc, a world-leading industrial seal company supplying customers in 104 countries, faced mounting shipping-time and engineering coordination challenges as it expanded. Already using Solid Edge and NX, AESSEAL decided to adopt Teamcenter (from Siemens Digital Industries Software) to create a global design and engineering platform that would support local manufacture and faster customer response.

With support from Majenta PLM, AESSEAL implemented Teamcenter, integrated it with CRM, MES and ERP systems, and rolled out a three-week “train the trainer” program plus a global training network for about 150 users. The Solid Edge ecosystem-based solution delivered one global licensing/maintenance program, streamlined complex workflows, migrated released engineering data and CAM programs (spring 2013), and enabled new designs and ongoing projects to be managed centrally—improving design-to-production coordination and supporting faster worldwide service.
