Unit is an award-winning, independently owned creative studio in London (8 employees). Head of Finance Ben Davis was frustrated with a cash-heavy petty-cash system — weekly £2,000 withdrawals, safe-access issues, lost receipts and hours of manual scanning and reconciliation — so he implemented Soldo’s card-based spend management to replace cash.

Soldo issued company cards (multiple users per card), enabled on-the-spot receipt uploads and automated top-ups, and integrated with Xero. The change cut transaction handling from about 5 minutes to 10 seconds, reduced reconciliation to ~20 seconds per transaction, saved Ben 45–60 minutes a day via Xero integration, and added controls like ATM blocks and geo-limits for safer, more auditable spending.
