Dania School Uses Soldo to Reduce Overspend and Simplify Expenses for Staff and Volunteers

Dania Scandinavian School, a small independent preschool and primary in North London, struggled to manage petty cash and discretionary expenses handled by staff and parent volunteers without creating paperwork burdens or frequent overspend. To solve this they adopted Soldo’s prepaid cards and mobile expense app (with Xero integration) to give staff and volunteers controlled access to budgeted funds.

Soldo implemented prepaid cards with built‑in budgets and rules, a mobile app for receipt capture and reporting, and automated bookkeeping via Xero, with monthly transfers allocating each Soldo account its budget. The result: discretionary spending now tracks at or below budget, petty cash has been removed, record-keeping and receipt retention have improved, and accountants spend less time on manual bookkeeping.
