Case Study: Medline achieves major electricity savings with SolarEdge rooftop solar

SolarEdge Powers Mission-Critical Medical Manufacturer Facility

The customer SkyREM, through its affiliate Sky Power, LLC, was seeking a solution for their tenant Medline, a major medical manufacturer, to manage the facility's high energy costs and meet its corporate sustainability goals. They needed a system to reduce both overhead and carbon emissions for the Connecticut location.

SolarEdge implemented a 1.32 MW smart energy system using its inverters with Synergy technology and power optimizers. This solution is estimated to produce 1,578,430 kWh of clean energy annually, offsetting more than half of the facility's electricity usage. SolarEdge's technology is projected to save Medline an additional $136,800 over 20 years compared to traditional inverters, allowing the customer to reinvest the savings into its operations.
