Floating Solar Park Powers 600 Dutch Homes

The Dutch installer tenten Solar faced the challenge of building a floating solar park on a water reservoir for the Lingewaard community, where issues like module mismatch and operational maintenance on water were a concern. They selected the SolarEdge smart PV system with power optimizers and inverters to overcome these hurdles.

SolarEdge's solution maximized energy generation for the 1.845 MW installation, providing remote monitoring for each module to reduce O&M costs. The successful system, which powers approximately 600 homes, led tenten Solar to partner with SolarEdge again for a second floating solar park in the same region.
