Helio’s Shopify x Solana Pay Plugin Powers Phone Sales

Helio, a Solana-first web3 payments platform, sought to solve the complexity, high fees, and low conversion rates associated with integrating cryptocurrency payments for ecommerce merchants. Using its own Solana Pay x Shopify plugin, Helio provided a solution that integrates directly into Shopify, allowing merchants to accept fast, low-fee crypto payments settled in USDC on the Solana network. This implementation was successfully proven by Solana Mobile, which used the plugin for its Chapter 2 device launch, processing over $35 million in sales and saving more than $1,000,000 in fees compared to traditional payment methods. The Helio plugin also achieved rapid adoption, being implemented by over 200 Shopify stores within three months of its launch.
