Primrose Schools offsets nearly 100% of electricity use with Sol-Ark

Primrose Schools, a childcare center operator in Illinois, faced the dual challenge of rising electricity costs and a critical need for operational resilience against power outages. For owners Harleen Kaur and Ravipal Arora, an outage was more than an inconvenience; it threatened the safety and daily care of children. They partnered with vendor Sol-Ark to find a solution involving commercial solar and battery storage to ensure business continuity and reduce long-term expenses.

The solution implemented used Sol-Ark's integrated commercial hybrid inverter platform, specifically the Sol-Ark 30K three-phase hybrid inverters and L3 HVR-60 Battery Energy Storage Systems. This provided the two schools with nearly 125 kW of solar generation and 122.88 kWh of battery storage, designed to offset approximately 100% of their annual electricity consumption. The result is significant lifetime utility savings and, most importantly, dependable backup power that keeps essential operations running during outages, giving the owners peace of mind and protecting their business.
