Pinder Tile cuts $258K in annual diesel costs with Sol-Ark

Pinder Tile, a leading manufacturer in Nassau, Bahamas, faced escalating operational costs including an annual diesel expenditure of $258,000. Their challenge was to find a more sustainable and cost-effective solution to power their heavy machinery and vehicles while meeting decarbonization goals. They partnered with vendor Sol-Ark and installer Island Solar Ltd to address this.

The solution implemented utilized three Sol-Ark 60K hybrid inverters paired with L3 Series Lithium batteries, creating a system with 180kWac capacity and 240kWh of storage. This Sol-Ark system significantly reduced fuel consumption, enabled Pinder Tile to meet their decarbonization targets, and put them on track to substantially lower overall energy costs while ensuring reliable operations.
