A Softworks Case Study
The AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), founded in 1983 and Canada’s largest HIV service organization, employs about 50 staff and coordinates over 400 volunteers to deliver prevention, outreach and support services. ACT struggled to get accurate, real-time information on hours worked and needed reliable reporting to meet union rules and manage holiday, sick time and time-in-lieu while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
ACT implemented Softworks Time & Attendance and Employee Self Service, supported by a joint project team from ACT and a Softworks Project Manager. The solution delivered real-time reporting and a mobile self-service app for employees to check balances, improving efficiency, ensuring compliance with union and privacy requirements, and increasing staff satisfaction.
