Heineken brews up a case for installing Softworks’ Time and Attendance System

Heineken Ireland, a major brewer of brands like Heineken and Murphy’s, needed to modernize its internal processes to comply with the Working Time Directive and better manage employee hours. HR proposed an automated Time & Attendance/flexitime system, and a cross-functional team led by IT ran an RFP and evaluation process to select the best vendor.

Heineken chose Softworks’ web-based Time & Attendance solution, which required no client installs, mapped the company hierarchy for secure access, and integrated with their SQL infrastructure. The rollout gave 450 staff self-service access, enabled flexitime, saved the IT team roughly 1.5 weeks of work and HR about two days per month in administration, provided real-time reporting for managers, and—after a year in use—has delivered the expected efficiency and visibility gains.
