The customer ELEXON faced the challenge of modernizing its legacy Energy Contract Volume Allocation Agent (ECVAA) system, which was struggling to support a faster, more real-time energy trading market. The results provided ELEXON with a clear, evidence-based blueprint for ECVAA's evolution, centered on three key themes: modern APIs for real-time data, smarter market rules, and improved service management, ultimately shaping a future system to support a more flexible energy market.
