Gameloft, one of the world’s largest mobile video game companies with more than 5,400 employees, needed a better way to manage complex project planning as the company and its game portfolio grew. Their teams were already using Jira, but relying on spreadsheets for cross-team reporting and macro planning caused delays, poor visibility, and misunderstandings. SoftwarePlant’s BigPicture product was introduced to provide a clearer, more strategic view of planning across multiple departments.

With SoftwarePlant’s BigPicture, Gameloft streamlined production planning and execution by giving project managers the “big picture” perspective they were missing. The solution helped teams organize resources and schedules more effectively across 20+ person game development teams and improved communication between development, design, and art teams. While the case study does not provide hard numeric ROI, Gameloft reported that BigPicture made the production department’s work easier and enabled smoother, more efficient planning.
