Coriant, a global networking solutions provider, faced difficulty tracking project chronograms and resource under/over-allocation within its Jira-based software development process. To address this gap, Coriant adopted SoftwarePlant’s BigPicture and its enterprise extension, BigPicture Enterprise, to provide Jira-integrated project planning and allocation functionality across its Software Defined Networking program.

SoftwarePlant implemented BigPicture Enterprise inside Coriant’s Jira environment, enabling integrated chronogram views and allocation checks that replaced previously cumbersome manual processes. The result was noticeably faster planning for team leaders, clearer management visualization, and improved accuracy and efficiency in project management—feedback Coriant described as very positive and plans to expand BigPicture’s use to additional programs.
