A SoftwarePlant Case Study
K-Healthwear, a Daejeon, Republic of Korea start-up founded by KAIST alumni that develops wearable electronics and sensor circuits tied to a big-data cloud, needed stronger project-management support as it builds both hardware and software. The company had been using SoftwarePlant’s BigGantt but required richer capabilities for Agile development, sprint management and additional features like risk and resource management beyond traditional Gantt charts.
SoftwarePlant migrated K-Healthwear from BigGantt to BigPicture, which is now used across four teams (about 20 regular employees) to plan schedules, run sprints, visualize progress and manage risks and resources via dedicated gadgets and pages. As a result, K-Healthwear reports more intuitive agile management and improved project oversight—BigPicture has helped project managers handle complex R&D workflows more effectively and adoption is growing as the team expands.
