International Professional Services Company, a global professional services and accounting firm, needed to replace its aging UNIX/Oracle SAP environment with a more flexible, cost-effective platform. SoftwareONE’s SAP on Hyperscaler Cloud Services was chosen to help modernize the landscape, improve performance, and lower total cost of ownership.

SoftwareONE migrated the SAP landscape to Microsoft Azure, moving non-production systems, enabling elastic provisioning, converting SAP BW cubes for better efficiency, and virtualizing database and application servers on Windows Hyper-V. The project also implemented Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery, eliminated the need for new server and storage purchases, and terminated the costly SAP Business Warehouse Accelerator, all while completing the migration without disruption to business operations.
