PRODUCER is ready for global growth with Azure

PRODUCER – Maker Machina, a Swiss media and communications startup founded by film industry veterans, needed a cloud platform that could scale its all-in-one film production software for global growth. Its existing environment was difficult to scale, and its CI/CD pipeline was becoming harder to manage as user demand increased. Working with SoftwareONE, the company set out to migrate to Microsoft Azure.

SoftwareONE assessed the application for cloud readiness, designed the new Azure environment, and migrated most of the platform in just two months, including SQL rehosting and the implementation of GitHub, Terraform, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and MongoDB Atlas. The result was a highly automated, secure, cloud-agnostic solution with stronger resilience and global scalability, enabling PRODUCER to roll out dozens of updates per day and serve customers in regions such as the US, Australia, Brazil, and Canada with no latency issues.
