Private cloud to public cloud migration improves SAP performance

Major Convenience Store Chain, a retail convenience store operator in Asia, was struggling with SAP performance, resiliency, and stability issues in its co-located private cloud, which led to missed SLAs. SoftwareONE was brought in to support its SAP on Hyperscaler Cloud Services as the company looked to move key SAP systems to Azure, where other SAP workloads were already running.

SoftwareONE planned and managed the migration from private cloud to Microsoft Azure, including SAP landscape build, backup coordination, and functional and technical testing. The Dev and Test systems were moved first, followed by production within the agreed downtime window, resulting in stronger SAP performance, improved resiliency, and consistent SLA delivery, with all schedule deadlines met.
