Moving SAP to Azure increased performance and helped to better optimize SAP business processes for customers

ProNovia AG, a Swiss SAP PLM specialist, wanted more flexibility and better support for innovation as its existing hosting contract was nearing its end. It worked with SoftwareONE to reassess its SAP hosting model and explore a move to Microsoft Azure, including a lift-and-shift migration of SAP ERP and a later S/4HANA transformation.

SoftwareONE planned and executed the Azure migration with minimal disruption, completing the full move in less than three weeks and setting up new infrastructure in under 24 hours for go-live. ProNovia AG improved SAP performance and cut hosting costs by about 35%, while gaining on-demand scalability and a smoother path to S/4HANA with no new hardware required.
