Modernized app promotes productivity

EPM, Colombia’s largest multi-utility company, wanted to modernize its on-premises SharePoint-based file sharing and document management application, Enter, which suffered from downtime, slow performance, poor search, complex user experience, file errors, and rising maintenance costs. To address these challenges, EPM worked with SoftwareONE on an application modernization initiative using Microsoft Azure-based services.

SoftwareONE modernized the platform into Enter Online on SharePoint Online and Azure, using Angular for the front end, Azure Logic Apps for workflow integration, and Azure API Management for API monitoring and control. The new solution delivered 25% faster document response times, a 20% boost in productivity and efficiency, and a 15% increase in adoption across EPM’s subsidiaries, while also improving security, performance, administration, and troubleshooting.
