Migrating SAP to SAP S/4HANA on Azure for improved performance and resilience

Global Fertilizer Producer turned to SoftwareONE after its SAP Analytics systems in a co-located private cloud began suffering from performance, resiliency, stability, and service-level issues. With other SAP systems already running in Microsoft Azure, the company wanted a better platform to support its global financial, commercial, and supply-chain operations.

SoftwareONE used its SAP on Hyperscaler Cloud Services to plan and manage the migration of the SAP landscape to SAP S/4HANA on Azure, coordinating with the customer and the existing private cloud provider. The project included backup recovery, functional and technical testing, and a phased move from Dev and Test through production within the agreed downtime window. As a result, Global Fertilizer Producer successfully migrated all SAP Analytics systems to Microsoft Azure and achieved substantially improved performance and resiliency.
