How Suva now optimizes licenses, reduce spend and compliance risk

Suva, Switzerland’s largest accident insurance provider, needed to replace its existing software lifecycle management support after its Spider tool would eventually be discontinued following Flexera’s acquisition. To maintain and strengthen IT asset and contract management, Suva turned to SoftwareONE and Flexera’s FlexNet Manager.

SoftwareONE implemented FlexNet Manager and managed the migration with a tailored project plan, including a current-state assessment, inventory of the IT infrastructure, Microsoft and Oracle license compliance verification, and transfer of licenses, contracts, and maintenance data. As a result, Suva gained a complete inventory for better compliance control, improved software allocation, visibility into actual usage for cost savings, and stronger risk management and decision-making across SLM.
