OrthoSynetics, a U.S.-based healthcare provider supporting orthodontic and dental practices, was struggling with unreliable legacy IT infrastructure that affected customer service across 250 offices. With more than 450 virtual machines and on-premises Citrix systems housed in a Dallas colocation data center, frequent downtime, support issues, and renewal risk made it difficult to deliver the speed and reliability clients expected. SoftwareONE was brought in to help modernize the environment and move to Azure Cloud.

SoftwareONE designed the new cloud architecture and migrated OrthoSynetics’ Citrix-hosted orthodontic system from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, consolidating 450+ VMs down to fewer than 100 in just five months. The result was a major boost in reliability and performance, stronger customer satisfaction and retention, and annual operational savings of $50K+. Measurable improvements included critical system issues dropping from 54 to 3 per month and performance issues falling from 215 to 9 per month.
