Ataxia disease awareness increased by Azure website performance

Hope for Ataxia, a Canadian nonprofit focused on raising global awareness of Ataxia, needed to improve its website’s security, speed, and reliability while conserving limited funds. Its site had become slow, relied on inefficient plug-ins, and had been compromised by a hack that also affected email and online registrations.

SoftwareONE helped migrate the organization’s website to Microsoft Azure through its ONEImpact initiative, with financial support from Microsoft’s Tech for Social Impact program. The new Azure-based site delivered a 90%+ speed increase, improved security, eliminated web hosting costs, and enabled better communications, productivity, and engagement for Hope for Ataxia.
