ACCO drives data analysis with AWS and SoftwareOne

ACCO Engineered Systems, a leading U.S. mechanical contractor, needed to consolidate and secure rapidly growing, highly decentralized data so it could improve reporting, decision-making, and customer service. ACCO turned to SoftwareONE and AWS to help centralize structured and unstructured data and build a stronger foundation for analytics, governance, and future predictive capabilities.

SoftwareONE implemented an AWS data lake using AWS Lake Formation, with Amazon QuickSight for sharing and analysis and AWS Glue for predictive data integration. The solution helped ACCO standardize data across business units, improve access for sales and marketing, and lay the groundwork for predictive maintenance; within a year, ACCO said it had reached “the cutting edge” of data governance and analysis.
