Pittsburg State University wanted a way to deliver software to students anywhere on campus without the high cost and infrastructure burden of a full VDI rollout. After initially pursuing VDI, the university found it would not meet its goal of providing broad access to applications across its 78 computer labs, especially for GPU-heavy software.
