United Way of the Greater Dayton Area - Customer Case Study

United Way of the Greater Dayton Area, a nonprofit serving the Dayton region, needed to replace a fully manual attendance tracking process that required handwritten calendars, notebook pages, and monthly tally calculations for hourly, salaried, and monthly employees. The organization selected Software Techniques’ SoftTime attendance software, later moving to the cloud-based SoftTime Online, to reduce the time-consuming administrative workload and improve accuracy.

Software Techniques implemented SoftTime Online, giving employees a self-service way to submit leave requests and check balances, while supervisors could approve time electronically. The result was a much easier workflow for HR, less time spent on phone calls and manual calculations, better oversight of time approvals, and flexible scheduling support for a 24/7 crisis center and multiple office locations.
