xpate build a data lake to automate transaction analysis and earned a $18K grant from AWS

xpate, a fintech providing payment services and an all-in-one platform for e-commerce merchants, was spending over an hour each day on manual transaction reconciliation across multiple systems. The company needed a way to automate data collection and analysis, monitor transaction success and failure rates in real time, and qualify for AWS Proof of Concept funding. The Software House partnered with xpate on an AWS-based data lake implementation to solve this challenge.

The Software House built a data lake using AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Aurora Serverless, and QuickSight to pull data from xpate’s payment gateway, ledger, and authorization services into one dashboard. The solution eliminated manual reconciliation work, saved more than an hour per day, and gave xpate automatic visibility into transaction metrics. It also secured $18,000 in AWS Proof of Concept funding, covering a significant share of development costs.
