Children’s HeartLink reaches 74,000 children with Software for Good

Children’s HeartLink, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that trains medical teams to provide pediatric heart care in underserved regions, faced the challenge of an outdated and content-heavy marketing website that hindered their ability to tell their powerful story and engage donors and volunteers. They turned to Software for Good for a comprehensive website redesign to better convey their impact and inspire action.

Software for Good implemented a strategic solution by streamlining the site's content and structure, developing user personas, and building a new WordPress site for easy content management. The vendor extended a provided design system to create a clean, story-driven website and integrated custom eTapestry forms to facilitate online giving and event registrations. This new website successfully enables Children’s HeartLink to raise awareness for their work, which in 2016 involved training over 1,700 medical professionals who went on to care for more than 74,000 children.
