Smart Integrated Learning Within the Automotive Sector

Innovam is a Netherlands-based training provider with a 70‑year history in the automotive sector that needed to adapt to changing market conditions. Facing reduced demand and high on‑premises ERP costs, the company sought faster time-to-market, better customer experience through integrated e‑learning and CRM, and a shift away from a monolithic SAP system to a more flexible, event‑driven architecture.

Using Software AG’s webMethods platform delivered and managed by partner inQdo (hosted on AWS), Innovam migrated in stages to a best‑of‑breed application landscape (including Exact and Planning.nl), launched a new website and digital learning platforms, and retired the old ERP. The result was significantly lower IT costs, reduced implementation risk, greater agility and innovation, improved customer experience, and the ability to expand offerings into new industries and markets.
