SKF Group - Customer Case Study

SKF GmbH, a Cloud Award–winning global leader in bearings, seals and condition-monitoring solutions with 46,000 employees in 140 countries (headquartered in Sweden), needed to connect its cloud-based condition monitoring suite for customer Stora Enso to the customer’s SAP system to support growth. Previously, all customer integrations were custom-built, creating time and cost barriers to scaling the solution.

SKF adopted Software AG’s Model-to-Execute (M2E) approach, using ARIS for process architecture and EPC/BPMN modeling and webMethods BPMS for execution, and installed the integration in the SKF One Global Cloud. The project delivered faster business agility, six-figure cost savings, and a reusable, time-saving blueprint—resulting in the first solely cloud-based integration of condition monitoring, remote diagnostics and SAP services.
