Roundcube, a daughter company of Dutch IT firm Combined Computer Services (CCS), set out to modernize insurance front‑office experiences amid aging legacy systems, rising customer expectations, regulatory pressure and slow time‑to‑market. The challenge was to deliver a process‑driven, cloud‑ready digital portal that integrates with existing back‑office systems while remaining easy to deploy and adaptable for international markets.

Using Software AG’s webMethods BPMS and Integration Server, Roundcube built a modular, SOA‑based policy, billing and claims platform with an intuitive out‑of‑the‑box web UI and automated business rules. The solution lets business users customize processes without coding, integrates legacy systems (avoiding costly rip‑and‑replace), accelerates straight‑through processing, improves customer retention through self‑service and omni‑channel access, and shortens time‑to‑market.
