A Software AG Case Study
Radboud University Nijmegen, an international university with about 19,900 students and 5,049 staff, faced fragmented information about its IT landscape—hardware, applications, data and process connections were scattered—making it difficult to answer basic questions (for example, where student data are stored), access CRM functionality, and maintain clear end‑to‑end student processes.
The university selected Software AG’s ARIS suite (implemented with partner bQuind) to document and publish architecture and process information. The solution improved information retrieval and cross‑departmental understanding, created a common language for IT and processes, sped up decision‑making, and delivered a quality return on investment with positive feedback from stakeholders across the university.
