The Miami Heat, a three-time NBA champion based at American Airlines Arena, set out in the 2017 off-season to transform its fan experience: grow mobile and online ticket sales through personalized content, boost in‑venue spending with a frictionless (cashless/ticketless) experience, and improve overall guest loyalty and satisfaction.

Partnering with Raw Engineering and Software AG’s webMethods.io integration, the team deployed the Digital Fan Experience Platform to centralize content and streamline transactions. The result was rapid adoption and measurable gains — mobile ticket sales jumped from 30% to 83% in the first season, in-venue spending increased, and fan satisfaction and loyalty improved.
