Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, Israel’s largest mortgage bank, needed to replace legacy systems and build a flexible, unified customer-management platform to deliver tailored products and faster service across web and branch channels. Using Software AG’s Natural, webMethods ApplinX and EntireX, the bank built a unified customer system, a real-estate securities system and the Shoham Mortgage System to integrate mainframe and open systems, produce modern GUIs and automate workflows. The solution cut development time, sped loan processing and improved customer access, helping the bank capture a 7% market-share increase since 2000 and today manage 400,000 active mortgages and 8,000 daily transactions across 110 branches.
