Leading Coca-Cola Bottler Transforms it and Meets Complex Business Challenge

Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetraenke AG (CCEAG), the sole German Coca‑Cola bottler with 24 plants, ~9,800 employees and nearly 4 billion liters in annual sales, was selected as the pilot for TCCC’s global “Coke One” operational template. The program threatened major disruption to a highly interdependent IT landscape—impacting more than 75% of applications, roughly 1,000 business processes across seven domains, 120 enterprise apps and hundreds of interfaces—while CCEAG had to keep daily operations running and manage local customizations.

CCEAG extended its use of Enterprise Architecture Management and Software AG’s ARIS (with ARIS Publisher and IT Inventory), supported by business process analysis and consulting, to create a single repository for BPM and EAM, visualize transitions, run impact analyses and build time-based roadmaps. The initiative streamlined the IT landscape, sped incident resolution, improved collaboration and onboarding, increased transparency of dependencies and stakeholder alignment, delivered measurable ROI and produced methodologies that were incorporated into the global Coke One model—leaving CCEAG better prepared for future change.
