Kneipp, a German manufacturer of health products and cosmetics, faced the challenge of streamlining its complex organizational structure to accelerate innovation and improve its time to market for new products. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Software AG to integrate their R&D, production, and logistics systems with their central SAP ERP, aiming for end-to-end control of all business processes.

The solution implemented by Software AG utilized the ARIS Platform for business process analysis and the webMethods suite for integration and business process management (BPM). This high-performance, automated environment enabled seamless EDI exchange with partners, supported a new online shop, and robustly processed over 2,000 orders daily. The results for Kneipp were significant, including a 30 percent reduction in effort for new product launches and increased satisfaction for both customers and business partners.
