Hyundai drives up auto sales with webMethods

Beijing Hyundai Information Technology (BHIT), the IT arm of Beijing Hyundai Motor that supports 750 dealers and 80+ systems for five factories, faced unreliable, late and scattered dealer data across its Dealer and Customer Management System (DCMS). After building 11 new subsystems (including ERP, parts and CRM) the company still struggled with misclassified interfaces and massive traffic spikes—up to 600,000 server requests daily from 10 million data entries—causing system glitches and delayed reporting.

BHIT selected webMethods to provide scalable integration and real-time synchronization alongside batch processing, implementing regular scheduling, web services, queue broadcasting and asynchronous interfaces. The platform delivered immediate visibility into message flows, stabilized high-frequency transactions, reduced manual work and allowed seamless ERP and partner integrations. As a result BHIT achieved reliable, lightweight application integration, uninterrupted dealer operations and measurable business impact—contributing to Beijing Hyundai’s 11% year‑on‑year and 18% month‑on‑month growth in H1 2020.
