Fibabanka, a private Turkish bank with an expanding retail and digital footprint, was pushing aggressive growth targets and rapid online adoption but faced mounting regulatory pressure to document processes. The bank’s existing Visio-based approach proved static and inadequate, and leadership was initially hesitant to invest in a dedicated process-management solution despite the need to standardize, shorten and link processes to IT projects.

Fibabanka deployed Software AG’s ARIS platform (Architect & Designer and ARIS Connect) with local partner support and training, publishing a shared process library and attaching processes to IT work. The change cut revised procedures by about 50%, sped updates and approvals, improved business–IT alignment and regulatory readiness, and raised process literacy across the organization—delivering leaner operations and more consistent customer experiences.
