Nationwide, the UK’s largest building society with 15 million customers and over £200 billion in assets, needed to modernize its process architecture and make business information accessible to non‑process experts. The organisation wanted faster access to new ARIS capabilities, an evergreen cloud deployment model, and an innovative end‑to‑end approach to manage upgrades and testing without disrupting customers.

Working with Software AG, Nationwide adopted ARIS Cloud (ARIS Connect and ARIS Aware) and developed a new end‑to‑end release process. The move cut testing effort by 80%, shortened pre‑ to post‑release testing from five months to one, and reduced testing incidents from 31 to 4. Nationwide now hosts over 400 end‑to‑end processes in ARIS, democratizes business data via dashboards, and is positioned to expand automation, process mining and robotics.
