A Software AG Case Study
The Development and Investment Bank of Turkey, a government-backed lender founded in 1975 that channels financing into strategic national projects, prepared to relocate from Ankara to Istanbul and expand into M&A, IPOs and a tech fund. Before the move the bank faced siloed IT operations, limited visibility into process execution, growing compliance risk and the need for continuity during a major staff transition.
To address this the bank implemented Software AG’s ARIS suite (Business Design & Strategy, Risk & Compliance and Enterprise Architecture), using it to map, standardize and govern processes, create a single source of truth and automate approvals. The result was rapid onboarding of new hires, near-zero downtime during relocation, elimination of regulatory non‑compliance, smoother adoption of new core banking apps and improved, data-driven decision making for its expanded investment activities.
