Australian Unity, a leading Australian provider of health, wealth and care services, needed to move critical on-premises applications to the cloud, create a single source of truth across siloed systems, automate complex membership rules, and secure large-scale file transfers. The company chose Software AG’s webMethods platform, including integration and API management capabilities, to connect legacy and cloud applications and support its digital transformation.

Software AG implemented webMethods Integration Platform, webMethods API Gateway, webMethods Managed File Transfer, and webMethods.io Integration to build hybrid integrations, expose consolidated data through APIs, and secure banking and financial files. The results included more than 60 applications integrated, a Salesforce integration completed in under a year, automated finance and approval workflows, and a central customer data view that powered new services such as the My Real Wellbeing app.
