ARIS Mobile improves process communication and teaches users during their daily work

Lufthansa Cargo, part of the global Lufthansa Group and a leading logistics provider, faced the challenge of communicating complex, compliance‑critical processes to a diverse workforce with high turnover and varying language skills. The company needed faster, language‑independent training and clearer, more widely accepted guidance at the point of work.

Using Software AG’s ARIS Business Process Analysis Platform and ARIS Mobile Access, Lufthansa’s BPM team built an in‑house process guide app—accessed via QR codes at workstations and featuring photos, tutorial videos and user‑generated content on mobile devices. The six‑week pilot in Incoming Goods delivered significantly shorter training times, better process execution and governance, fewer mistakes, and higher user satisfaction and adoption.
