Accarda AG, Switzerland’s leading provider of integrated customer loyalty cards with a payment function, manages over 2 million cards and about CHF 2.5 billion in annual card revenues. Faced with high volumes of correspondence (over 1 million documents a year) and some 170,000 card applications annually, Accarda needed better ways to measure, analyze and optimize end-to-end business processes, create live dashboards for monitoring service-levels, and provide a single access point to process and organizational knowledge.

Accarda implemented ARIS Process Performance Manager and the ARIS Business Process Analysis Platform, integrated with its Document Management System to create a single point of entry and real-time dashboards. The solution delivered immediate visibility into bottlenecks and SLA risks, enabled cross-client process analysis, cut hundreds of administrative hours and saved hundreds of thousands of Swiss francs, reduced incomplete applications and accelerated case processing, with plans to add activity-based costing for even deeper cost–benefit analysis.
