Suva, founded in 1918, is Switzerland’s leading accident insurer, serving about 130,000 businesses and 2 million insured people with prevention, insurance and rehabilitation services. Facing the need to digitalize 1.2 million annual claims, improve quality and risk management, and strengthen customer loyalty, Suva sought a fast, low‑cost solution that would integrate with its claims assessment and auditor functions.

Suva implemented Software AG’s ARIS suite (Design & Strategy, Enterprise Architecture Management, Risk & Compliance) to digitize customer interactions, map its IT landscape and centralize risk processes. ARIS enabled nearly all stakeholder communications to go digital, automated nightly risk assessments from SharePoint with QA and board reporting, and supported initial customer‑journey mapping; the result is transparent, up‑to‑date risk management, lower costs for employers, improved customer convenience and a roadmap to scale to dozens more customer journeys and process‑mining initiatives.
