Formic, a Robots-as-a-Service provider, partnered with SoftTeco to optimize its data collection and processing system to handle growing IoT-generated data from its fleet of robots. The challenge was to extend their in-house team's capabilities to support this expansion and to develop a mobile application for end users to facilitate remote monitoring and control.

SoftTeco redesigned the backend system, migrated it to AWS, and integrated it with over six services, including Salesforce. The vendor also developed a cross-platform mobile app for remote robot monitoring and live streaming, and configured an internal AR application. As a result, Formic achieved increased data processing efficiency, supporting over 5,000 deployed robots with 99.8% uptime and providing users with robust tools to track performance and expenses.
