Case Study: TennSMART accelerates intelligent mobility innovation with SoftServe’s Google Cloud-powered platform

TennSMART, a Tennessee-based mobility consortium, wanted a better way to accelerate adoption of truck platooning and other intelligent mobility innovations by giving stakeholders secure access to relevant research and vehicle data. To support this, it engaged SoftServe and its Intelligent Mobility Platform (IMP), powered by Google Cloud, as a potential foundation for a scalable data platform.

SoftServe developed a proof of concept for TennSMART that could gather, process, and share sanitized data insights in real time, helping consortium members evaluate platooning parameters and future mobility use cases. Within three months, SoftServe delivered a prototype that demonstrated immediate value, could be extended into an MVP, and was presented to a broad audience including the Tennessee Department of Transportation, helping accelerate discussions around future mobility investments.
