Payment Processing Service Company, a leader in payment processing services, needed to quickly support a major merchant customer that was building a new webservice layer and had already integrated competitor payment partners. SoftServe was brought in because the company’s team was slow to implement key risk management product features, leading to authorization issues, declined transactions, and a threat to its preferred-partner status.

SoftServe designed and built a Java-based connector that translated the merchant’s transaction data into a format compatible with the payment processor’s secure risk management APIs, then routed it for validation and completion. The hosted, fully supported solution passed PCI DSS audit requirements, improved reliability, security, and availability, and was delivered on time and on budget while freeing the client’s internal team for other work and enabling new payment-processing capabilities such as void messages from any stage of authentication.
